Gary Low

Gary Low is the stage name of Luis Romano Peris Belmonte (although his parents were spanish from Catalonia, he was born in 1954 in Rome, Italy^[1]), who is an italian-spanish recording artist who was most active during the 1980s era of Italo disco. He recorded several musical works in both english and spanish, and his songs have since been sampled by various artists.

"I Want You" (1983) was sampled by French recording duo Miss Kittin & The Hacker for their 2003 single "The Beach". It was also sampled by American recording artist Washed Out for his song "Feel It All Around"^[3].
